Rare AJ Lee Appearance Confirmed

Former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee is making a rare public appearance at an upcoming event in March 2025 at a fan event in New York.

Lee was last seen in a WWE ring back in March 2015, teaming with Naomi and Paige (now Saraya in AEW) taking on Natalya & The Bella Twins, as can be seen below this news story.

She has now been confirmed for an appearance at The Big Event EXS, taking place at the Suffolk Credit Union Arena on March 15, 2025.

The announcement was made on The Big Event’s Facebook account, posting:

April Jeanette Mendez. She is best known for her time in WWE under the ring name AJ Lee.

She won the Divas Championship a record-tying three times and held the title for an overall record of 406 days. She also won the Slammy Award for Diva of the Year in 2012 and 2014, and readers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated voted her Woman of the Year from 2012 to 2014.

Lee isn’t the only wrestling name announced for the upcoming expo, with Lola Vice, Mercedes Mone, Maria Kanellis and Brooke Adams among other names set to appear.

The former Mandy Rose has also been confirmed for the expo, along with Lacey Evans and Taryn Terrell.

HOOK, Bryan Danielson, Paul Wight and Satnam Singh are also among the names listed on the guests page of the official website.

The WWE Hall of Fame is well represented, too, with Jim Ross, Bret Hart, The Bella Twins and The Great Khali also making appearances.

Lee’s  absence from wrestling was recently commented upon by a number of WWE stars who noted the benefits of the ring as a skincare routine.

Cora Jade has also previously commented that she is “working on” convincing Lee to make a return to WWE.
