One of the best creations of 2020 was NXT’s Fight Pit stipulation. The match is different with its lack of ropes and platform atop the cage but it has yet to be used in WWE.
One man who is looking to change that is Riddle who took to Twitter today to ask for the match. More specifically, he wants his United States Championship match against Bobby Lashley to be in the cage at the Royal Rumble. Here is the tweet:
Hey @tripleh, who do I have to call so I can beat up @fightbobby in the #FightPit for the #USTitle? pic.twitter.com/vTY2KZg8PV

Riddle won his U.S. title shot on Raw by defeating The Hurt Business in a Gauntlet match. Bobby Lashley then attacked him after the match, laying him out with the Hurt Lock.
Riddle is also one of the men to compete in the first-ever Fight Pit match on NXT in May 2020. He lost that match to Timothy Thatcher as it served as Riddle’s NXT sendoff.
Both Riddle and Lashley have extensive experience in an MMA setting. Riddle was a UFC fighter prior to his career as a pro wrestler while Lashley had a successful run in Bellator during his time away from WWE.
