The reason for Ruby Riott’s unexplained disappearance from WWE TV seems to have been explained as it has now been revealed that she has undergone some pretty serious shoulder surgery.
An article on WWE.com reads:
Raw Superstar Ruby Riott underwent successful surgery yesterday to repair a bilateral injury to her right shoulder, WWE.com can confirm.
Riott will receive surgery for the same injury on her left shoulder at a later date.

According to Dr Google, this kind of injury will keep Riott out of action for at least two months, and in some cases significantly longer.
While the situation is far from ideal, perhaps this will allow Ruby to come back and re-establish herself as a name on the main roster.
