Raw Viewership Revealed For September 27 Episode

The viewership figures for the September 27 edition of Raw, featuring a WWE Championship steel cage match, have been revealed.

As per  ShowBuzzDaily, this week’s episode drew an average of 1.709 million viewers. This is slightly down from the 1.793 million viewers who tuned in on September 20.

In the 18-49 demographic, Monday’s show received a 0.48 figure, the same rating as last week’s episode.

Here is the hourly breakdown for this week’s Raw:

Hour 1 : 1.818 million
Hour 2 : 1.714 million
Hour 3 : 1.596 million

The show kicked off with Big E defending his WWE Championship against former titleholder Bobby Lashley. After Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin interfered, reuniting the Hurt Business, Big E faced Lashley in a steel cage match to close the show, retaining his gold.

After his successful defence, Big E was confronted by Drew McIntyre. The Scotsman was unable to challenge for the WWE Championship due to a stipulation enforced after he was pinned by Lashley at Hell in a Cell in June.

This year’s WWE Draft officially begins on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, and will continue on next week’s edition of Raw. WWE has reportedly discussed a main roster call-up for a popular NXT team, ahead of the roster shake-up.
