Last week on Raw, Buddy Murphy was drafted over to the red brand.
This came after weeks of reports suggesting that Raw’s Executive Director Paul Heyman is “very high” on the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
On last week’s show, Murphy successfully defeated Cedric Alexander on last week’s show, and the former NXT star looks set to become out of Raw’s top midcarders alongside Alexander, Aleister Black and Andrade.
While the aforementioned Andrade and Aleister Black had matches on this week’s show, Buddy Murphy was noticeably absent.
However, it appears that his absence is down to the fact that he was part of a WWE tour of Australia, his home country.
Following Xavier Woods’ injury, Buddy Murphy teamed with New Day members Kofi Kingston and Big E to take on Randy Orton and The Revival at a live event in Australia yesterday.
Along with Murphy, Raw stars Randy Orton, Erick Rowan, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay also wrestled on the show, missing Monday Night Raw in the process.
This comes after the real reason why Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch also missed last night’s show was revealed.
