Here’s Why Colt Cabana Missed ROH Final Battle AEW

Tony Khan provided an update on Colt Cabana during the post show media scrum after ROH Final Battle.

Cabana didn’t wrestle on the December 10 pay-per-view, despite all the previous drama about the star joining the ROH roster.

Final Battle was the first ROH show under the Tony Khan banner that Cabana missed, following his bouts at Supercard of Honor and Death Before Dishonor.

During the media scrum, Tony Khan confirmed that Cabana is currently out of action due to an injury.

Khan said:

“He’s injured. He hasn’t been cleared.

“Because he has been wrestling in the Ring of Honor matches, and that was also what the Chris Jericho storyline is -– all Ring of Honor champions and everyone was really all people from either this new Ring of Honor or, in the case of Bryan Danielson, a Hall of Famer and the greatest champion ever.

“Pretty much everybody who came in there represented the new era of Ring of Honor for the most part, including Colt Cabana, who had been on the last two shows and was 2-0 on Zero Hour.”

Cabana last wrestled on the November 2 edition of Dynamite, unsuccessfully challenging for Chris Jericho’s ROH World Title.

The star previously revealed that he ‘almost died‘ during this bout.
