AEW
The real reason behind the crazy ending to last night’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event has reportedly been revealed.
Last night’s AEW Full Gear event closed with the AEW World Championship clash, with Jon Moxley defending his championship against Orange Cassidy, before chaos ensued after the match.
As Moxley was celebrating, Hangman Adam Page came to the ring with a chair, confronting Moxley before Christian Cage came to the ring and laid out the AEW World Champion.
As Christian went to cash in his contract, Jay White came to the ring, hitting the Blade Runner on Christian, preventing him from cashing in on Moxley.
As Moxley and the Death Riders fled the arena, their car was run over by Darby Allin, who crashed his truck into the Death Riders’, before he would end up attacking the van with his skateboard to end the show.
The angle got a lot of fans talking as the show went off air, and the reason behind the chaotic finish to show has now been revealed.
Per PWInsider, the angles at the end of the show were designed to showcase how many challengers are chasing the AEW World Championship in the coming months.
