WWE Raw star Doudrop has addressed her WWE TV absence, ahead of her eventual in-ring return.
Doudrop hasn’t wrestled since the September 6, 2022 edition of NXT, when she teamed with Nikki ASH to face Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne.
Nikki has since returned to the main roster as ‘Nikki Cross’.
Recent reports had indicated that Doudrop had been out of action because of ‘visa issues’, however the Scottish star has stated that this isn’t the case.
Doudrop took to Twitter to reply to a fan who asked where she went, writing:
I was very sick, but I am healing. 🧠💪🏻
When she was asked whether she was dealing with any visa issues, Doudrop wrote:
No my visa was updated in April as discussed with @AlexMcCarthy88
There has been speculation that Doudrop will be repackaged upon her return to TV, with fans calling for her to re-adopt her previous ‘Piper Niven’ name.
Several stars have revisited previous gimmicks under the Triple H regime, including Doudrop’s tag partner Nikki Cross.
