An update has been provided on the status of Ember Moon following her recent tweets about missing last week’s episode of NXT.
On the August 10 show, Moon was scheduled to face Sarray, but instead, Dakota Kai wrestled the Japanese star. Moon took to Twitter earlier today to clarify that she has not suffered an injury.
As per Fightful Select (subscription required) Moon was recovering from a dental procedure which prevented her from getting cleared ahead of last week’s show.
It had previously been reported that the reason Moon was kept out was ‘not serious’. Following the announcement that she wasn’t able to compete last week, Moon tweeted:
“This has been an extremely rough month, I am angry and gutted! I was really looking forward to this match and getting back on track but just got another pothole in the road. I’m sorry!”
Moon last wrestled on the July 13 episode of NXT against Dakota Kai.
