Balor last wrestled on the January 17 edition of WWE Raw, and was notably absent from Saturday’s show.
As per WrestleVotes, the Irish competitor is not currently in the US. Stating that Balor is expected to return to WWE before WrestleMania 38 in April, WrestleVotes tweeted:
“Confirmed with a source that Finn Balor is not injured in anyway, he is out of the country however. WWE expects him back in plenty of time for WrestleMania”

Balor recently featured on the My Love Letter To Wrestling podcast with NXT UK’s Mark Andrews. During the interview, Balor opened up about his second NXT run, revealing that his return to the developmental brand was due to him being worn out by backstage politics.
The former Universal Champion also spoke about his main roster aspirations, noting that he wants a ‘real’ heel run on either Raw or SmackDown.
The men’s Royal Rumble was ultimately won by Brock Lesnar, who entered at #30 after losing his WWE Championship earlier in the night. You can view the full list of surprise entrants at this link.
