Real Reason For Adam Pearce WWE Absence

The real reason WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was absent from last week’s episode of Raw has been revealed.

Last Monday saw SmackDown GM Nick Aldis filling in for Pearce, with no real explanation as to why Pearce wasn’t there.

PWInsider Elite is now reporting that Pearce had a surgical procedure, and missed the show due to that.

The surgery was said to be “pre-scheduled” so it wasn’t something that came up as a surprise out of nowhere.

In addition to his on-screen role as Raw General Manager, Pearce is also a backstage producer for WWE.

He’s already returned to social media making announcements for tonight’s Raw, including a match between Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and NXT’s Roxanne Perez.

Also announced is Rusev vs Otis, Penta vs JD McDonagh, an appearance from Becky Lynch, and an appearance from the group of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman.

We will of course keep you posted with all the news throughout tonight’s show, which is the last episode of Raw before this Saturday’s WWE Backlash premium live event in St Louis.
