As more gameplay footage continues to emerge of the upcoming AEW Fight Forever video game, AEW fans are building up hype for the game’s release.
However, it has been reported that there will several notable omissions from the game’s roster, including stars who only debuted for the company this year.
Other notable omissions were reported last week, as former AEW World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR were reportedly not a part of the game.
FTR’s absence has led to a lot of confusion and speculation as to why they missed out on the roster. Per SportsGamersOnline managing editor Mike Straw, the reason for the duo’s absence is that moveset captures and animations had some issues which led to changes to the game’s launch roster.
FTR themselves have commented on their removal from the game, noting that they don’t blame anyone for the decision.
