Real Reason Michael Cole Is Off WWE Raw Commentary This Week

Real Reason Michael Cole Is Off WWE Raw Commentary This Week WWE

The real reason that Michael Cole has missed tonight’s WWE Raw season premiere (October 16) on USA Network has now been revealed.

When fans tuned in to tonight’s episode of WWE Raw branded the ‘season premiere’, they most likely noticed that Michael Cole was not on commentary.

With Kevin Patrick filling in for him (and noting as such) at the top the broadcast, fans wondered if everything was okay with Cole given how rare it is for him to take time off, which was even highlighted on TV by Seth Rollins recently .

According to a new report from PWInsider, Cole had “requested for this week off some time ago due to a personal commitment”.

It just so happened this week fell on the Season Premiere, and Kevin Patrick was planned to fill in for Cole “many weeks” prior to tonight.

Interestingly, this will be Patrick’s first time on main roster commentary without Corey Graves by his side.

Patrick and Graves were on Raw as a two-man team for a while, before they both moved over to SmackDown alongside Cole as a trio.

Michael Cole is reportedly set to be back on commentary alongside Wade Barrett next week on the flagship show.
