The real reason that Riho has been absent from AEW TV again after making her return to America from Japan has been revealed.
As written in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Riho had a bad reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine that has kept her out of action.
Her most recent match was on July 7 in a win over Amber Nova for AEW Dark.
It was noted that she’s feeling better now and should be able to make her return soon.
Riho was the first ever AEW Women’s World Champion with a reign that lasted 133 days.
We send her best wishes for her recovery and we’re glad to hear she’s feeling better.
