In just over one week, Roman Reigns will be teaming with The Undertaker to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred tag team match at Extreme Rules.
Despite being set to take part in a marquee match at the upcoming pay-per-view, Roman Reigns was noticeably missing from both Raw and Smackdown this week, despite appearances from McMahon, McIntyre and Taker.
With Roman coming back to WWE following his battle with leukaemia only five months ago, some fans were worried that “The Big Dog” wasn’t on TV this week.
However it appears that there is nothing to worry about, with it being reported that Reigns was just given the week off. While it is not known why he was given time off, Fightful Select is reporting that Reigns went home after WWE’s tour of Japan.
“We’re told he went home right after the Japan tour.”
This is particularly interesting as it does not seem as if Roman Reigns worked any matches during WWE’s tour of Asia. It looks like he just was given some time off by the company to rest.
It definitely seems as there is nothing to worry about regarding Reigns’ condition as the former Universal Champion will be teaming with a mystery partner to take on Shane McMahon and The Undertaker as part of a “Double Main Event” booked for Raw.
