Real Reason Why Sami Zayn Has Been Missing From WWE TV Revealed

At WWE Stomping Grounds last month, Sami Zayn teamed with Kevin Owens to take on New Day’s Big E and Xavier Woods. Zayn and Owens were successful in what was widely regarded as a great match.

Two days after on Smackdown, Zayn was deserted by the aforementioned Kevin Owens as the pair teamed with Daniel Bryan and Rowan to take on New Day and Heavy Machinery in an eight-man tag team match.

Since then, Sami Zayn has not been seen on WWE TV, while Kevin Owens has turned babyface and recently cut a sensational pipebomb-like promo on Shane McMahon.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that Zayn’s mysterious absence is not down to injury or backstage heat, but rather just because WWE Creative has nothing for him. He is being kept off of TV until the writers can find something for him to do.

However his absence might not last much longer, as Sami Zayn might have just accidentally spoiled a championship feud for him at SummerSlam in a tweet that he has since deleted.
