An update has emerged on the real reason why the Wyatt Sicks have been absent from WWE TV for a number of weeks.
It was recently announced that the Wyatt Sicks – made up of Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan and Dexter Lumis – had been moved from Raw to SmackDown in the WWE transfer window.
They hadn’t been seen for a few weeks before that announcement, and haven’t been seen in the couple of weeks since either.
They were reportedly planned for an appearance on the January 13 episode of Raw where Alexa Bliss would have returned and been involved, but Bliss’ return ended up being canceled due to ongoing contract disagreements with WWE, and the Wyatts weren’t featured either.
A new report from Fightful Select states that the reason the Wyatts haven’t been on TV since their return to SmackDown is due to an “injury-related reason”.
There were no further details on who specifically may be injured, or what the actual injury issue is.
During their absence, the group has been mentioned on TV, as there’s a current storyline of The Miz trying to find some new backup after he was also moved to SmackDown to help protect him from the Wyatts, who were targeting him on Raw.
Miz thought he found some allies in Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, but they were drafted to Raw straight after, and Andrade outright rejected Miz’s offer on an alliance this past Friday.
