Edge hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since his WrestleMania 37 main event with Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, and we now know why.
On his Fightful Select Backstage Report show, Sean Ross Sapp said that he is under the impression that Edge is taking some scheduled time off.
Edge signed a part-time deal when he returned to WWE in January 2020, so the Hall of Famer wasn’t expected to be on television each week.
As of right now, there is no word on when WWE is hoping to have Edge back. However, with fans returning in July, you have to think that WWE will want Edge and its other top stars back sooner rather than later.
