If you tuned into WWE Raw tonight, you’ll have noticed there was no Raw Underground segments as there usually are, and now we know why.
As per Fightful Select, the recent COVID-19 outbreak that has affected WWE is the reason we didn’t get to see anything from Raw Underground tonight.
There was already a shortage of names available and any segments for tonight were thus deemed unnecessary.
Unlike previous weeks when there had been segments taped and then WWE just didn’t air them on Raw, this time there were no segments taped at all.
Last week was one of them most prominent weeks for Raw Underground as Shane McMahon, Dabba-Kato and Braun Strowman were in the ring on the show proper for the Kevin Owens Show ahead of Strowman vs Dabba-Kato later in the show.
For some reason, Strowman won that match by knocking Dabba-Kato clean out. Anyway we’ll have to see if it makes a return next week, but it’s likely the results of the outbreak will still be being felt at that point.
