Real Reason WWE Concerned Over Seth Rollins Winning World Heavyweight Championship WWE

A lot of signs have been pointing towards Seth Rollins winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but it might not be that simple.

On May 27 at Night of Champions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Seth Rollins, who won the Raw side of the tournament, will face SmackDown’s winner AJ Styles to determine the first holder of WWE’s new World Title.

Rollins has been many people’s prediction since the very start, but some doubts may be emerging.

As we covered on the site, Rollins was spotted on the set of MCU movie Captain America: New World Order.

Because of that project, as reported by WRKD Wrestling, the interview segments with Rollins that aired on last night’s May 15 episode of Raw were actually pre-taped because Rollins obviously wasn’t at Raw in person.

The concern becomes whether these kinds of movie roles are going to become commonplace for Rollins, which would mean similar situations where he won’t be able to be present at WWE shows.

The whole premise of announcing the new World Title was that the winner would be around full-time, unlike Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

If Rollins wins and then ends up with more movie roles, it would kind of defeat the point a little bit.

Because of all this, there is reportedly “hesitancy” within WWE regarding the idea of Rollins winning the title.

We’ll keep you posted with any further updates, but you can see WRKD Wrestling’s exact wording of the situation below.
