Ring of Honor brought back fans tonight for their ROH Best in the World pay-per-view. They also revealed the new Women of Honor Championship which will be fought for in a 16 woman tournament.
ROH declared Vita ineligible for the tournament because she broke the rules. This left an open spot in the tournament and the replacement was announced as none other than Chelsea Green.
Green was recently released by WWE after breaking her arm in her SmackDown debut. However, Green then announced that the Maryland Athletic Commission had not cleared her to wrestle.

So, this seems as though she won’t be able to compete. She said she would sit ringside for the tournament and challenge for the title in 1 month after the cast on her arm comes off.
Green was rumored to be the mystery opponent for Deonna Purrazzo at next weekend’s IMPACT pay-per-view. It appears this will not be the case.
Green appears to be in ROH full time. We’ll have more on her status as it becomes available.
