REELZ is coming to Peacock, but MLW will not be streamed due to their WWE deal.
As previously reported, Major League Wrestling signed a deal with REELZ in January 2023 to air MLW Underground on Tuesdays. However, a new deal for the channel may cause some issues for this deal.
Per Hollywood Reporter, Peacock is adding a live linear system of the REELZ channel beginning on March 1. However, the feed will not feature a live stream of MLW Underground on Tuesdays at 10PM EST due to Peacock’s deal with WWE.
WWE has exclusivity with Peacock due the sale of the WWE Network to the platform back in January 2021.
Peacock is the streaming home of WWE premium live events, select original programming and the WWE archive along with a WWE live feed.
With the newest deal added to the app, Peacock now has live feeds for REELZ, Hallmark, WWE and local NBC stations.
This news follows a judge recently dismissing MLW’s lawsuit against WWE, which claimed that WWE attempted to undermine their competition by preventing MLW from finalizing multiple media distribution deals.
We will have further updates and breaking news in regards to this story when they become available.
