Referee For WWE Backlash 2023 Main Event Revealed WWE

WWE is set to host it’s Backlash 2023 premium live event in Puerto Rico tonight (May 6).

The show will feature seven matches, and is being advertised as having a ‘double main event’ with Bad Bunny vs Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight, as well as Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar.

We now know which match is set to close, per Fightful Select, it will be Lesnar vs Rhodes closing tonight’s show in San Juan.

Also per Fightful Select (subscription required), referee Rod Zapata is set to be on referee duty for the match.

The other referee assignments are Dan Engler being set to referee the six-man tag match between the Bloodline against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle, Eddie Orengo refereeing Damian Priest vs. Bad Bunny, Jessika Carr referring both the Smackdown Women’s Championship match and Seth Rollins vs. Omos, while Jason Ayers will be the official for the Raw Women’s Championship match, and the United States Championship Triple Threat.

Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens & Matt Riddle vs. Solo Sikoa & The Usos

SmackDown Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Zelina Vega

Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair (c) vs. IYO SKY

United States Championship – Austin Theory (c) vs. Bronson Reed vs. Bobby Lashley

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. Omos
