Regina Di WAVE Championship Match Set For August 29 AEW Dark: Elevation

Hikaru Shida and Emi Sakura will face off in title action on the August 29 edition of AEW Dark: Elevation.

Shida is set to defend her Regina Di WAVE Championship, representing Japan’s WAVE promotion. This will be Shida’s first defence of the title since winning the gold from Suzu Suzuki during the August 14 WAVE 15th Anniversary show.

The current Regina Di WAVE titleholder will have an opportunity to win more gold at All Out, where she will face off against Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker for the interim AEW Women’s Championship, with official champion Thunder Rosa out of action due to injury.

Other notable names announced for the show include Matt Hardy, Serena Deeb and RUSH.
