WWE held it’s latest round of talent cuts on September 21, when many names from both the WWE main roster and NXT were released from their contracts.
With the releases, main roster talent cut was subject to a 90 day non-compete clause, while the NXT talent cut was only subject to the standard 30 day non-compete clause, which expired yesterday (October 21).
Following the expiration of the non-compete clause, the first former NXT talent released on September 21 has re-emerged on the scene, that being Ikemen Jiro.
Jiro made his return to DDT Pro Wrestling at today’s God Bless DDT event, his first appearance since his WWE release.
Jiro said that he had left Ikemen Jiro in America, saying he will now go by his new ring name ‘Kuroshio TOKYO Japan’.
Kuroshio is set to face off against Takeshi Masada on November 12 at DDT Ultimate Party, as well as on November 8 against Minoru Suzuki.
