The first post-WWE appearance for a recently released former WWE star has officially been announced, and it’s coming up soon.
WWE had a wave of releases earlier this month, but there was one in early February as well.
One of the February releases was Elektra Lopez, who had been with the company since 2021 and was most notably a member of Legado Del Fantasma.
Lopez, under her real name Karissa Rivera, has been announced for Mike Santana’s Puerto Rican Weekend for House of Glory on June 7.
Also announced for the show so far are Mike Santana himself and the Amazing Red.
Since her WWE release in February, Rivera has been backstage at shows for AEW, ROH and TNA.
However, she has yet to sign anywhere – as the February releases only became free agents about a week ago after their 90-day clauses expired – and this will be her first post-release appearance, or at least it’s the first confirmed one at this point.
Before she signed with WWE NXT in 2021, she did have a few matches for ROH in addition to wrestling for numerous other promotions.
