Released WWE Star Appears On NXT

A released WWE star made an appearance on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT after being released from the company last year.

Former two-time NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler was among the names released from WWE back in May 2025, bringing to an end her eight year run with the company.

However, since her release, Shayna has continued to appear at the WWE Performance Center, with her serving as a producer for NXT a few months after her release.

Shayna also made an appearance on the NXT Homecoming episode of the show that took place at Full Sail University last October, and she made another appearance on tonight’s episode.

At this Saturday’s NXT Vengeance Day event, Lola Vice is set to make her return to the Underground, when she faces off with Kelani Jordan in an Underground match.

Ahead of the match on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, a video aired which showed Kelani training for the match, which saw her train with Shayna in her second official WWE television appearance following her release from the company last year.
