Released WWE Star Expected To Be Done With Wrestling WWE

A recently departed WWE star is reportedly expected to be done with wrestling following their release from the company.

Since Friday (May 2), 17 WWE stars across the main roster and NXT have been confirmed to have exited the company, due to being released from their contracts or WWE opting not to extend their deals.

The 16th name to confirm their WWE departure was NXT’s Dani Palmer, who took to social media to reveal that her time with the company had come to an end.

In her post, Palmer mentioned that she was “officially closing her athletic career” following her release, leading many to assume that she wasn’t planning on pursuing wrestling beyond WWE.

In an update on Palmer’s future, Fightful Select stated that those they have spoken to “don’t believe that Palmer will continue in wrestling”.

Palmer – real name Alexsis Amrhein – joined WWE in 2022 with a background in acrobatics and tumbling, becoming a three-time NCAA National Champion.

She made her wrestling in-ring debut on NXT in 2022, but primarily featured on NXT Level Up for the majority of her run, while also later featuring in the newly launched WWE Evolve.

At one point earlier in her run, Palmer was set for a tag team push on NXT TV with Sol Ruca.

We will provide updates on Palmer’s in-ring future if more information becomes available.
