A recently released WWE star has now made their first wrestling appearance since their departure from the company.
While WWE had a group of releases in early May last week, there was also a group released in early February.
Those February releases became free agents as of yesterday, meaning they’re now available to appear and work for other promotions.
One name who has already gotten to work outside of WWE is Bea Priestley, formerly known as Blair Davenport.
Priestley made her first post-WWE appearance today, as she had a match at NJPW Resurgence against Viva Van.
The show is taking place at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, and will also feature another pair of WWE releases.
It was announced yesteday, as of their free agency, that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson would be partnering AEW‘s Young Bucks in their eight-man tag match at Resurgence against the Bullet Club War Dogs team of Gabriel Kidd, David Finlay, Clark Connors and Gedo.
Gallows and Anderson were part of the same WWE releases in February as Priestley.
The others who were in that group and are now free agents are Giovanni Vinci, Cedric Alexander, Isla Dawn, Elektra Lopez and the Authors of Pain.
