Released WWE Star’s New Ring Name Revealed WWE

A recently released WWE star’s new ring name has now been revealed in a new vignette ahead of their free agency.

WWE released a number of wrestlers from both the main roster and NXT back on May 3, with one of the names being released being NXT star Javier Bernal.

Bernal recently competed in his final match for the company, with him taking part in a WWE Evolve match that aired following his release.

NXT releases have a 30 day non-compete clause instead of the main roster star’s 90, with the NXT releases set to become free agents next week.

Today, Javier Bernal released his first vignette ahead of his upcoming free agency, and revealed his new character and ring name.

The video featured Bernal performing a song, before staring at himself in the mirror as the crowd chants ‘Javi’, before the name ‘Javi’ flashed on screen, seemingly confirming his new ring name.

He wrote:

If you were bullied: Bullied. Didn’t get picked. Left out. It’s time to stand up. It’s to rise. It’s to fight. It’s to win. It’s time to open this pit up. Because I’m gonna make shit happen.
