Despite heavy speculation linking him to a move to AEW, a released WWE star is reportedly believed to be TNA Wrestling bound.
Ever since he was released from his WWE contract in February, the future of Cedric Alexander has been the subject of much speculation among wrestling fans.
With former Hurt Business stablemates Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP all joining AEW in the Fall of 2024, many fans assumed that Alexander would potentially join up with them once he hit free agency.
Despite the rumors regarding an AEW move, PWInsider Elite (via Wrestlingnews.co) has revealed that some believe that Alexander may actually be starting with TNA Wrestling soon.
The report notes that they haven’t been able to “100% lock down” that Alexander is joining TNA, but “where there’s smoke, sometimes there is indeed fire”.
TNA has been a popular landing point for many former WWE stars in recent years, with Indi Hartwell, Elijah (Elias), Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke), AJ Francis (Top Dolla), Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) and Mustafa Ali all joining the company following their respective WWE releases.
We will provide updates on Alexander’s potential move to TNA Wrestling if more news becomes available.
