Released WWE Star Undergoes Surgery For Injury Sustained In The Company WWE

A recently released WWE star has undergone surgery for an injury she sustained whilst with the company.

In early May WWE released well over a dozen stars from their roster, including former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kacy Catanzaro (fka Katana Chance).

Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, June 24, Catanzaro revealed that she’s taken the chance to get her broken nose fixed following her WWE exit, an injury she sustained whilst in the ring competing for the company.

Sharing a picture of her heavily bandaged nose, Catanzaro wrote:

“Finally got my broken nose fixed”.

As Catanzaro discussed during her recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, she broke her nose twice inside a WWE ring – firstly in her and tag team partner Kayden Carter’s final NXT match before being drafted to Raw in May 2023, and then again over a year later in July 2024 after taking Zoey Stark’s Z360 finishing move.

Following her WWE release Catanzaro revealed that she’s unsure whether she’ll continue her in-ring career – click here for her full comments.

We wish Catanzaro all the best in her recovery and will provide updates on her future beyond WWE when news becomes available.
