Here’s when the names released by WWE yesterday (November 4) will officially become free agents when their non-compete clauses expire.
As is the norm, those who had main roster contracts have 90-day non-compete clauses, while those who have NXT contracts have 30-day non-compete clauses.
There can obviously exceptions depending on the individual’s contract, and if they ask talent relations, they may get let out of the clause early.
But on the basis that they’re 90 and 30, the names released from the main roster will be free agents on February 2, 2022, while the NXT names let go will be free agents on December 4, 2021.
Blake Christian, who was Trey Baxter in WWE, already has his first post-WWE booking as he’ll be returning to GCW on December 4 and December 17.
