Over the last few months, Drake Maverick and R-Truth’s feud over the 24/7 Championship has provided some of the most entertaining moments on WWE TV each and every week.
The feud has now brought Drake’s real-life wife Renee Michelle onto TV, with Maverick still yet to consummate his marriage despite tying the not nearly two months ago.
Up to his point, Maverick’s wife has been referred to as ‘Renee Michelle’ on WWE TV. However, a recent WWE.com article has suggested that the Mae Young Classic participant has undergone a name change.
From this moment, Michelle will now be taking her husband’s surname and will be referred to as Renee Maverick.
Over the last few days, Renee has expressed her unhappiness with her husband’s quest to regain the WWE 24/7 Championship from Maria Kanellis, who is pregnant.
