Renee Paquette Provides Update On Relationship With WWE

Renee Paquette, formerly Renee Young, has provided an update on her relationship with WWE after being away from the company for a year.

Paquette recently said that her non-compete is expiring soon – since she was under an employee contract and left of her own volition, she was reportedly subjected to a one-year non-compete with no pay.

Speaking with Wrestling Inc, Paquette explained that she maintains a good relationship with WWE and she’ll always have love for the company, and would even be open to doing more work there.

She said:

“I still have a good standing relationship with WWE. There’s no ill-will or bad blood or anything like that.

“So many of my friends are all in WWE. There’s definitely no reason for me to not pop up and do stuff, or not be part of stuff if they want to reach out and do some stuff. Either it works or it doesn’t work, but there’s no obligation. I always have love for WWE.”

Renee Paquette also explained that, following the birth of her and Jon Moxley’s daughter Nora, she doesn’t want to take her foot off the pedal with regards to her work, and thinks it’ll be good for Nora to see her doing that. She added:

“I definitely don’t plan on taking my foot off the gas pedal.

“My career is still very important, and it’s very important to me to maintain working and having a busy schedule and sort of chasing my own dreams, because I want her to see that. I think it’s really important for (Nora) to see me doing those things and finding a way to make it work.”

Paquette does have a lot on her plate, having worked on a few projects during the past year, having a baby, as well as having to watch her husband cripple himself in barbed-wire every few weeks.

We wish Renee all the best with whatever she does next.
