PWInsider is reporting that the end of this week’s episode of AEW: Dynamite didn’t go to plan due to timing errors on the part of Kenny Omega.
What we saw was Jon Moxley and PAC go to a time limit draw, Moxley get very upset about it, DDT the referee and then stare into the camera.
According to PWInsider, what was actually supposed to happen is that Kenny Omega was supposed to run down to the ring, but was too late in doing so and the show went off air.
There was also a run-in from Hangman Page, and Page challenging PAC to a match at Full Gear, but again this did not air live.
To remedy this, a number of people are reporting that their cable guides have “AEW: Dynamite – Extended” listed, and it is expected to include everything that wasn’t aired on Wednesday night.
It might simply be that other matches went too long, and as the main event was a 20-minute time limit match that was booked to end as a draw, there simply wasn’t enough time to fit it all in.
TV Networks are very strict with shows ending on time, and AEW will need to learn from this error going forward.
