It is being reported that numerous performers who have appeared on AEW Dark and ROH have been at this week’s WWE tryouts.
Earlier this month, a number of female talents who had featured on AEW Dark showcased their skills in the WWE Performance Center. We now know which male talents have visited the WWE PC this week.
Fightful Select has revealed some of the names from this week’s male tryouts. The class featured a number of performers who have competed for AEW Dark in recent months.
John Skyler was one of the talents headlining the tryouts. Skyler has competed on AEW Dark 14 times over the course of a year. His last appearance for AEW took place last month, when he and Ryzin were defeated by SCU.
Jake Logan was also at the Performance Center, despite being on AEW Dark earlier this month. Other AEW Dark alumni at the tryouts were Tyson Maddux, Ray Jaz, Brady Pierce, Will Allday, David Ali, Ariel Levy, Eric James and Jason Cade.
Wheeler Yuta was also a notable name at the tryouts. Yuta has competed for both ROH and NJPW in the last few months, most recently wrestling on the May 18 episode of ROH TV. Rayo, who has also worked a number of dates for ROH in the past, was also at the WWE Performance Center this week.
WWE has confirmed that they will kick off their return to live events with the July 16 episode of SmackDown. Money in the Bank will air on July 18 and will feature a live crowd.
