As All Elite Wrestling approaches their one year anniversary special on TNT, it is fascinating to see how far their roster has come. What started with a small group of top independent stars has grown to include recognizable names from throughout the wrestling world. Now, it is being reported that they have interest in another top indie star.
Bodyslam.net is reporting that Mance Warner has once again become a person of interest for AEW. Warner has been a major star for Major League Wrestling. Additionally, he was backstage at AEW Revolution earlier this year as well as an episode of Dynamite in Ohio. The report states that a source told them “AEW 100% has interest”.
It was not said how much long Warner will remain under contract to MLW. He has been under contract with the company since earlier 2019. He debuted in February 2019 against Jimmy Yuta.
Prior to the pandemic, wrestling companies were desperate to sign anyone they thought might go to another company. While that mentality has taken a back seat as of late, Warner will surely draw big offers when he becomes a free agent.
