AEW star Jake Hager’s return to MMA has been booked and he has a fight on the Bellator 250 card coming up later this month.
On October 29, Hager will fight Brandon Calton, as reported by MMA Junkie. Both men are currently undefeated heavyweights.
Hager’s record stands at 2 wins and zero losses, along with one match that had to be thrown out after two accidental low blows to his opponent.
It will be his first fight since September 2019, his last being the aforementioned no contest with Anthony Garrett at Bellator 231.
The upcoming fight likely means we won’t be seeing Hager wrestling for AEW from now until the fight due to the risk of injury.
However, he has wrestled as recently as the October 7 Dynamite for the Chris Jericho 30-year anniversary show where he and Jericho defeated Chaos Project in the main event tag team match.
