A new report has revealed that there was another AEW talent meeting.
Following the post-All Out backstage fight between CM Punk and The Elite, All Elite Wrestling is still reeling from the aftermath.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), an AEW talent meeting was set to take place at 4:15PM EST, with talent, referees, coaches and announcers ahead of tonight’s Dynamite from Buffalo, New York.
Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley were set to lead the meeting after recent praise for Jericho’s handling of the current backstage turmoil in AEW.
As previously mentioned, Tony Khan has announced that he will appear on the September 7 edition of AEW Dynamite to address the situation with the AEW World Championship and AEW World Trios Championships.
AEW World Champion CM Punk was involved in a physical backstage altercation with AEW World Trios Champions and EVPs Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. Ace Steel was also involved in this incident.
Several stars involved in the backstage fight have been suspended, which you can read more about here.
