According to a new report from PWInsider, WWE has released Brian Pellegatto, who until now was Senior Vice President of Production.
Pellegatto had been in the role since 2019, having previously worked as Vice President of Social Media. He had been with WWE for around 9 years.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful had reported earlier this afternoon that more cuts had been made by WWE today, and while we don’t have a full list of names, we do know that Raw commentator Adnan Virk has departed the company, having joined the commentary booth just last month.
There are some HR exit meetings set for this afternoon for many of those who were let go by WWE. There are some high ranking people in those departments and longtime supervisors among the cuts.

It has been a very eventful few weeks in WWE, with several NXT wrestlers and referees being released, and there have been reports that further wrestler releases are coming, possibly focusing on NXT UK.
PWInsider notes that many people within WWE are “shell shocked” by the most recent releases, which have reportedly occurred after a decision was made to merge certain departments, including graphics and the advanced media departments.
