WWE Champion Big E will feature on the Big Noon Kickoff college football pre-game show this Saturday, as per Fightful Select (subscription required)
Big E’s guest appearance will come before the Iowa vs. Penn State game. Before graduating with a Batchelor of Arts degree, Big E played as a defensive lineman for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The WWE Champion earning this guest spot is a big deal, as college football has a large following in the US. Big Noon Kickoff will air at 10:00 am ET on Saturday on FOX.
It appears WWE worked with FOX directly for this appearance. Fightful recently shared a report on the relationship between WWE and FOX.
FOX notably is the home of SmackDown, which airs every Friday. The first King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournament matches have been announced for the October 8 show.
