If you watched the FOX debut of SmackDown, you will have seen that there was a confrontation between WWE star Braun Strowman and former heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
As a result, Fury will be appearing on Raw tonight to have an open mic session in order to lay into Braun, but according to the Wrestling Observer, there is a lot more to come in this feud.
On October 31, WWE returns to Saudi Arabia for the bi-annual Crown Jewel show, and according to reports, Fury will make his WWE debut in a match with Strowman.
Whether it will be a wrestling match, or whether it will be a “use whatever form of violence you want” match is not yet clear, but we will keep you updated.
The Observer is also reporting that there will be another debut on the show, with Cain Velasquez set to go up against WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a rematch of their 2011 UFC fight which Velasquez won via TKO in the first minute.
There will likely be a limit to what Fury can do, given that he will not want to risk injury ahead of a rematch with Deontay Wilder set for next year.
It will probably be a lot like the Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show match at WrestleMania 24, in which Mayweather was heavily protected.
