During a recent episode of the Living The Gimmick podcast, Jon Alba noted that there is some concern within the black and gold brand that the enforcement of mask-wearing has become somewhat relaxed.
Alba noted that there is some concern from within the company that the enforcement of mask-wearing in the communal areas like the gym and the Performance Center has been some lax recently:
“There was also some concern over the idea that there has not been an enforcement on mask wearing in spaces where some talent are congregating like they should like at the gym and at the Performance Center or places like that”.
Jon Alba broke the news of the latest WWE COVID outbreak at the Performance Center earlier this week alongside Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful. You can read more about that by clicking here.
Since then, it has been reported that the outbreak within NXT is believed to have been caused by a trainee throwing a party, which was attended by other members of the roster, leading to asymptomatic transmission of the virus.
Speaking of trainees, it has been reported that training at the WWE Performance Center has been halted because of the outbreak, with no word on when it is scheduled to return. You can also read more about that by clicking here.
