Report: Daniel Bryan Removed From WWE 2K22

If you’re already bored of Daniel Bryan news following his reporting signing with AEW, then I apologise in advance, because it just keeps coming.

WWE infamously released it’s 2K20 game before it was properly finished, leaving fans with broken games, endless glitches and feeling like they had wasted their money. The game was also given several “worst game of the year” awards.

As a result, WWE didn’t release a 2K21 game, and instead focused on creating mobile games and WWE 2K22, which will be released later this year.

One person who won’t be in it if WWE gets its way is Daniel Bryan, as a new report from both Andrew Zarian and Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states WWE has contacted the game’s creators with a memo to not include Bryan in the game.

This memo was sent out to all licensees, so don’t expect to see anything Daniel Bryan branded on WWEShop anytime soon.

If you do want to play with Daniel Bryan on a wrestling game, you’ll have to play an old WWE game, or buy the AEW video game, which is currently being developed.
