You will remember a couple of months ago that Elias was suddenly pulled from the King of the Ring tournament after it was revealed that he had somehow managed to break his ankle.
He has understandably not been seen on WWE TV since while he undergoes the necessary rehab, but it seems that we should expect to see him back any day now.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that he was told Elias would be ready to return at the end of October, and now that it’s November, he should be fit and ready.
“I remember being told that Elias would be back by the end of October, we have already passed that, so I would say any day now probably.”
Elias is one of WWE’s top heels, and while he isn’t the most talented in-ring worker, he is able to generate levels of heat some can only dream of.
The roster is a worse place without him, and he could very well be making his return this coming Friday at SmackDown now that the rest of the roster is back in America.
You could easily see him returning out of the crowd to smack someone over the back with his guitar, or just sing a nice song for us to announce his long-awaited return.
