
PWInsider is reporting that Taylor Wilde (real name Shantelle Taylor) is going to be returning to IMPACT Wrestling in the near future. She wrestled for the company from 2008 until late 2010. She would retire the following year.
After her retirement, Wilde went on to have a career as a firefighter. The capacity in which she will be returning to IMPACT Wrestling has not yet been reported, so make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on that:
Former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Shantelle Taylor is officially on her way back to the promotion, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
Taylor, 34, is best known as Taylor Wilde and at one point was under a WWE developmental deal. She was a regular for Impact Wrestling (then known as TNA Wrestling) from 2008 through her announced retirement in 2011. During her time with the company, she held the Knockouts title and was a two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion, once with Sarita and once with Ayako Hamada.
Since leaving the business, Taylor has worked full-time as a firefighter, started a family and pursued a degree in psychology.
For those that don’t know, Taylor Wilde also worked for WWE before ever appearing for IMPACT Wrestling (then TNA). Wilde was under WWE contract between 2006 and 2007.
