A free agent who WWE has had interest in signing has reportedly signed with the company.
It was reported by Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net in December that Colby Corino’s NWA contract was set to expire on January 1, making him a free agent.
It was also reported that Corino was expected to sign with WWE once he became a free agent.
In an update today from Haynes, Corino reportedly signed with WWE earlier this week, and is set to report to NXT very soon, possibly as soon as early March.
Haynes also reports that Corino’s WWE tryout took place at the end of January, with it being noted that he was brought in individually, and was signed alone, not as a part of an incoming ‘class’ of new recruits.
