The WWE Backlash premium live event in Puerto Rico is now officially in the books, with the show being very well received.
Many of the matches had a lot of build going into it, but one that didn’t was the seemingly random match between Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Omos.
The match ended up having a lot of heat from the live crowd in Puerto Rico, with Rollins picking up the win in an entertaining bout.
Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNews.co), those backstage were very happy with Omos’ performance at Backlash, with the feeling being that it was one of the best major matches he has had.
Rollins will be a part of the upcoming tournament for the new World Heavyweight Championship on tonight’s episode of Raw.
Omos is a free agent following the WWE Draft, with him able to float between Raw and SmackDown.
