WrestleVotes is reporting that there are potential plans to bring back Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler for the WWE Studio show which is set to start on Fox later this year.
The report noted that Fox officials are keen on Lawler to be a main part of the show as he is a familiar voice to many fans past and present, and would hopefully bring some viewers back to the product.
FOX has floated the idea to WWE about having Jerry “The King” Lawler as a main part of their WWE studio show that will begin once SmackDown moves over in October. The feeling is that Lawler’s image & voice is a familiar one, thus something Fox Sports is looking for.

There has been no official word on the matter, and it isn’t known who else would be on the show, but it was reported recently that Renee Young is highly likely to be one of the hosts.
Lawler’s former commentary colleague Jim Ross recently revealed that Fox originally wanted to bring him in for the role, but he had already made the decision to leave for AEW.
The WWE studio show will air on Fox Sports 1 on Tuesday nights, beginning this autumn. This will be the second WWE-Fox show as SmackDown will air Friday nights on the Fox broadcast network, starting on October 4.
